Is it possible for a scenario to be too unique? I love this authors writing but the plot and scenario we are in just donโt feel realistic. It makes it kind of hard to feel in the place of the characters we are following. Donโt get me wrong. The details of the simulation made perfect sense and seemed realistic but what are the chances of this happening in real life?
Outside of that the story itself was very cute. The authors writing is well done and overall this was fun. If you are looking for something lighthearted and unique to read it will get the job done. I look forward to more of this authors writing.

This is the second book I've read by this author and I prefer The Kiss Countdown. I did not like the FMC Brianna at all. She really annoyed me and I felt like she was so one dimensional. The whole book was "I need boundaries so I can do my job well" and that's a really valid concern, but it didn't resonate for me well at all a written. I wasn't feeling the chemistry between Brianna and and Roman and the supporting characters annoyed me too! I tolerated Angie for her occasional comic relief.
There was one point where Brianna actually used the phrase "all that and a bag of chips" and not sarcastically. I physically cringed.
It probably also doesn't help that the only Roman I recognize is my book boyfriend from Natasha Bishop's Only for the Week ๐ฅฐ
I added the half star rating because I liked the reveal at the school.
At the end of the day, I'm merely a reader. Shout out to Etta Easton, a published author ๐ ๐๐พ

It was a cool book to read. I love how Brianna and Rome's love story blossoms eventually. I'm not going to lie, Brianna's character was getting on my LAST NERVE with this second-guessing herself and caring about other people's opinions ๐. It became repetitive. Overall, it was a cute read.

The narrator did not fit the age of the character and it sounds like Iโm listening to a YA book with a teenager. Also, the pace of the book is too slow and I find it difficult to get into the book. Will try reading the e-book because the narrator may be what is causing me to have difficulties in actively listening
