I enjoyed the back and forth between the main characters (all their feeling said and unsaid). As well as the past and present storytelling. It was incredible chemistry between them- that they would understand all the unsaid items and the meaning behind the books they were writing.

This is beautifully written

It was a good book but in the middle of my reading I got lost in the relationship between all of the characters and the married situation with the main female character. Nothing less I enjoyed this book but it was nothing spectacular, just a cute summer read.

This is a tough book to rate. 3 stars? 4? I liked the beginning and some of the middle. And then most of the middle aggravated me, and I even began to feel panicky about what was going to happen. But then I absolutely loved the ending! What a roller coaster.

All confused feelings aside, this was an interesting read. To get inside the minds and the routines of two people co-writing a novel. It was pretty cool to see the inner workings of authors and how their ideas come together. I can also see why this book was recommended to me because I loved Beach Read by Emily Henry. I still loved Beach Read more, but this one was good, too.

This story pulled me out of a months-long reading slump. Loved reading about the writing/co-writing process. Really enjoyed the romance which, albeit slow-developing, feels real and convincing. While the pacing is on the slower side, there’s no shortage of tension. Will miss my time with the characters.

I really loved the concept of this book, but for some reason I had to DNF it for a bit and then picked it back up later. It was sweet, and I didn’t hate it; I just found myself growing bored. I think the main thing was that not much actually HAPPENED during it. Which, a book about writing a book is sort of bound to be that way, but still.
