One of my most anticipated reads! :/
The authors clearly know how to tell a story, there were so many lines and parallels- it should have all worked for me except I reaaaally just did not like the two main characters. Or really any of the characters. Maybe this one just was not for me. This was my first read from these two authors, so I am going to look into some of their other works

Love a second chance romance, but didn't love the fact that there felt like there was so much emotional cheating that marred their relationship. Appreciated having the multiple perspectives though!
I love books about book-loving people, so I was immediately intrigued by the premise of this one. The Roughest Draft is a story of two co-authors forced to reconvene after years of estrangement and write one last best-seller together.
The writers-in-love trope (as niche as it is) will always be a favorite of mine. I loved that through dual POVs and timelines, the reader gets a slow reveal of the cause of the rift between the two authors. Add in some angst and built-up tension and you’ve got yourself a winner.
