This was a cute and fun romcom of two authors who become friends, write a best seller, go their separate ways, and then reconnect when they have to work together again.

Just go read Hannah’s review. It’s like the second one down. She does a really good job writing out what I feel.

Torn about this book. I loved it and yet felt there were some things lacking. Loved the writing, loved the characters and their longing BUT felt like there was this huge buildup about their separation and when the reveal came I was left underwhelmed. I wasn't sure I felt like it was fleshed out enough to make it the huge upheaval but part of that could have been how the flashbacks dealt with it. Reminded me of People We Meet on Vacation. Almost too much time left on the great descriptions and feelings and yet still didn't quite understand the heroine and her decisions. I was more drawn to Nathan than to Katrina.

DNF @ 48%. I thought this book would lean more on pining and missed chances opposed to emotional and physical cheating in both the past and present. Mega gross and bad vibes.
