This book tackled subjects of divorce and emotional cheating as well as the subjects can be handled. The characters managed to stay likable. The tension between the two MC is delicious. The smut was not nearly enough for my liking though I dont rate based on that. Testament to the writer that they were able to keep this a lighthearted and fun read. Was not a huge fan of the epilogue though, with the how they met explained. It twisted their relationship a bit to me. Though I will leave out spoilers detailing why. The flashbacks within the book did get abbit jarring when they were basically doing the same thing. Not a huge deal but I did have to go back a time or two to clarify when something was happening.
3.5 ⭐️ . Totally fine but I had trouble distinguishing the two MCs and the past and present narratives. I also didn’t really care about either of them. If you read this on a beach you’ll have a nice time.
Neither character was particularly very likable to me, and I never really found myself rooting for them.

Just one of those books where you scream ‘Talk to each other! Have a conversation!’ on pretty much every page. The characters were unpleasantly bland.

This book could have been cut in half with the amount of repetition here. Like not a lot actually happened between them. It was mostly Nathan thinking about Katrina and vise versa. I would have enjoyed it more had there been more “events”. I’m pretty sure they did like two things together the whole book.

It’s been about two months since I’ve read this and my memory of it is pretty vague which means it can’t be 5 stars. But I remember it being sweet, fun, creative, and really well written! I’ve always been a sucker for stories with 2 timelines and this book did that really well! Nothing negative to say, but also nothing exceptionally positive. Recommend to fans of Beach Read!
