This book was neither good nor bad. It was just a bit… meh. The authors didn’t make me feel anything for any of the main characters. The stakes here weren’t high enough for me to believe in the development of their feelings for each other, and the flashbacks didn’t really do anything to spark any excitement about the second chance/hate to love romance. Plus - all the cheating on each other’s partners, in the past and present! I just cannot deal with stuff like that in books.

It took me a couple of days to get into it, starts quite slow in my opinion, and then...it isn't anymore.
I liked the characters, at least for what little you get to know them. I don't feel you get much insight about who they are really, you just get to know their tragic love story.
The more I think about it the less I'm sure this book deserves these many stars.
I guess it's a different take on your usual romance book (at least it was for me) and I loved the idea of it, weirdly though I think it could have been done better.
Will possibly read more books from this author.

I was expecting fluffy and this was so much more rich than that. The writers do beautiful prose. I do think it could’ve been about 10% shorter but overall I really enjoyed this one.
This book was meh. I think the characters were likeable but the book was missing something. Just very like surface level- needed more zest.

I love this book. It was so angsty and I just needed to finish it. I needed to find out what was going on between the two characters. It also made me like profoundly sad. The one relationship in it is so toxic and I just don't understand why such a smart person would stay in such a shitty relationship. The layers to the character and the distance they put between themselves. How you can know someone so well but also misinterpret everything they're doing was amazing. I loved it so much.
