Pretty good! It was very meta to read a book by an author duo about an author duo writing a book, but I really loved this and am glad to have finally picked it up.

One star off for editing- there were a handful of typos and I couldn’t stand that the dialogue didn’t get new paragraphs. It stunted the flow quite a bit and made this a bit more difficult to get through.

Sublime. So full of heart and lovingly crafted. I wish all books were this delicious, deliberate and tense and the slow burn is… *fans self*

I liked how the narration of the nove mirrored the structure of the novel being written by the two main characters, but it was a bit overstructured in the end for my taste
