"It's done. Our contract is complete."
"I didn't do this for the contract. I want you."

It was a good book, but I had so much angst. And I think emotional infidelity isn’t my bag baby. Even if it’s minor. Woof. Good writing just I needed a smoother ride.

this book was cute and simple, which i think is why i enjoyed it so much. it didn’t overuse rom-com writing but it felt raw and real.

4.25⭐️ok..... QUÉ HISTORIA mamita

pensé que iba a ser una historia cliché más pero nada q ver. Nathan no me termino de caer muy en ningún momento creo, a ella la amo

An angsty version of Beach Read that is delicious

I loved this story and how it brought you back to the friendship of the past and the budding feelings, then into the present where they aren’t talking to each other but have to fulfill their writing obligation together. You gotta love a forced proximity trope, when the two people are angry with each other but ultimately care for each other deep down.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The love/hate thing isn’t my favorite, but it was fine. I just can’t stand the miscommunication/lack of communication plot device. It’s both irritating and unbelievable that they wouldn’t just talk to each other.
