A ler.

This kind of genre is my jam -- magical realism, surreal, dark fairytale; also, as someone who is not much of a reader (but i'm trying) short stories are really good for improving my attention span. However, I wasn't really in awe of this book. It's okay, but good okay :)

So, I want to give my mini review for each short story:

THE HEAD - 3.75
It's nice; it's a good start to the book. The story is quite unique, which made me want to keep on reading.

THE EMBODIMENT - 4
This one is quite bizaare. I like it. It was quite sad though, but the story is unique.

CURSED BUNNY - 3.25
One of the longer ones. We want this for our enemies lol

THE FINGER - 4.5
Oh, this one's my favorite! So intriguing and confusing at first but towards the end.. wow! This is personal hell.

SNARE - 3.75
This is very folk tale/fairytale.

GOODBYE, MY LOVE - 3
Black Mirror-ish. This one was really hard for me to get into as I'm not really into tech stories (loove Black Mirror though), plus, kinda repetitive at the beginning. Could've been shorter.

SCARS - 3.5
More on the usual fantasy plot. It still kept me intrigued.

HOME SWEET HOME - 3.25
Nice twist in the end, didn't see it coming.

RULER OF THE WINDS AND SANDS - 3.5
Felt like your typical YA fantasy story. Reminds me [a little bit] of Strange the Dreamer.

REUNION - 3.75
Poignant. I was a little confused at times. I kinda like the ending.
