I think I’m a grinch, this book is really cute but it’s too happy. It’s also for a younger audience which I didn’t know when I bought it but that’s okay. The dilemma Bailey and put herself in between liking both Jacob and Charlie is solved too nicely. I was expecting something dramatic to happen, or even for her to choose neither, or both! But of course that wouldn’t be very YA. I definitely didn’t think it would end in the way that it did, but of course it ended in the most Christmas way possible. I wanted a cute christmassy book and this is definitely that.

Such a cute YA novel. All the characters are likeable, the main character is a teen girl hoping for a kiss under the mistletoe. Quick, fast read with a little Christmas magic.
