Es un poco un Robinson Crusoe moderno. El personaje de Kensuke se vuelve muy interesante conforme pasan las páginas. Es una novela juvenil corta y fácil de leer que no perdurará en mi memoria pero que me gustó leer.

Beautiful children's book. It was wonderful to read aloud but it feels a little bit drawn out on the island.

I first read this book when I was in my primary school (upper key stage 2) and now I’ve read it again for my Year 5 English unit.

Rereading a book first visited at school. A beautifully written tale of adventures, survival and friendship. Michael Morpurgo is one of my favourite authors and I’m enjoying revisiting his books as an adult. The story is told through the eyes of Michael, who keeps you engaged as he tells his tales from his round the world trip on the Peggy Sue with his family to his discovery of Kensuke and his kingdom. Well worth a read.
