Just a quick fun read, even if I saw the twist a mile away.

High School student Lily has dreams of being a song composer, and often spaces out while thinking about music and lyrics. One day, after having her notebook confiscated by her chemistry teacher, she doodles down some song lyrics from one of her favorite (mostly unknown) bands. The next day in class, she gets to her desk only to find that someone has written down the next lyrics in the song! This leads to further communications between her and her new mystery friend through letters that are left hidden in the desk each day.
As they continue to write letters, they become more and more open about their lives and struggles, and seem to form a bond that feels special. Meanwhile, she's battling the daily ins and outs of high school, including her arch-nemesis Cade, who constantly seems to make fun of her. Cade also happens to be her best friend's ex-boyfriend. On top of that, she's attempting to navigate her crush on senior, Lucas, while trying not to be too awkward. Lily's best friend keeps trying to set her up, and her parents constantly want her help within the family. Through all of the chaos, she keeps coming back to the letters. The mystery man makes her feel understood, and she looks forward to hearing from him every day. Only, who is it that she's writing to? You'll have to read to find out!
P.S. I Like You was such a cute book. I loved it! It was the first book I'd read by Kasie West, and it won't be my last. I've been stalking her on Goodreads to see what else she's written! There's not much thought required in reading P.S. I Like You, and that's exactly what I was in the mood for. If you're looking for something light and fun with a happy ending, this is the book for you!
Overall, the book was adorable and fast paced, though the romance had a slow build. There are some moments where you may want to knock Lily on the head and ask her what she's thinking, when she's being intentionally sarcastic, judgmental, or just downright rude to certain people who are trying to be nice to her, but then I have to remind myself that she's a teenager, and that's typical teenage behavior. Aside from those few moments, I loved all of the characters and adored the relationships between them. I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick, fun, light read!

This is the third book i read from Kasie West, and among of them this is my top favorite. It was entertain me so much and easy to read.
Hate and love is so close after all !
Hate and love is so close after all !
What did I just read?! I knew I made a mistake when I started reading this book in the middle of the day, but I couldn't help it. Every book I have read by Kasie West's always engulfs me into the story and doesn't let go until I've completed it. This time, however, everything was different! Yes, I was still unable to put the book down but when the end came, I wasn't left satisfied! Instead, I screamed and had to turn Skillet's new album on just to calm my nerves! What a way to end an incredible book!
I related to everything Kasie wrote and couldn't help but feel like I was Lily as I read from her perspective. Each page intrigued me and left me wanting more. I couldn't wait to get to a page where either Lily or her pen pal had written one of their secret letters because they were super cute and reminded me of the way I write to one of my friends.
Can I ever unread this book?! Not that I truly want to because it was one of the best book's I've read this year! Totally going to read this book as soon as possible. :P

3.5 stars - Completely predictable...I guessed the "mystery pen pal" within the first 20 pages or so. But I will give Kasie West credit for turning all that predictable-ness into a book that I still wanted to finish. I wanted to find out the outcome of Lily's story and see how they figured out each other's identities.
This was a really cute read!! This is the first Kasie West book I've read, and now I don't know why! I really want to read some of her other things now!
I really loved Lily, the main character. She was so real with herself and didn't care what (most) people think about her. The unlikely relationship made it so much better. And I LOVE the letter writing. I think we should all bring back letter writing. It's so much more personal.
Cute, cute book.

Cute, cute book.
I really enjoyed this book. The beginning chapters took me a while to get into but as soon as it got interesting , IT GOT INTERESTING! I knew from the beginning who was the letter writer but it was still nice to see how Lily reacted to who it was. Overall this was a super cute and fluffy read! The raves I hear about Kasie West are true now that I have read a book for myself.
Cute and perfect for a brain refresh! Love Kasie West stories! ✨️
This book brings Together the two things I really like music and love notes.
YAWN. Took forever to get to the point. Not fun, not cute. Thankfully I got this book for free...
