It had all the tropes of a Wattpad book (damaged boyfriend, grumpy sunshine vibes, ‘he hates everyone but me’) but it was really well written? I have the second book ready to go

"He throws his head back and laughs. It’s the best kind of laugh—rough with a hint of a wheeze. as if he can’t take in enough oxygen to support such a rare event. I let the sound wash over me, and all I can think about is how I can get him to do that again."
Lauren Asher makes me want to fall in love with an imaginary man all because of his laugh. I love how Zahra makes Rowan happy and gives him the ability to finally be himself, and honestly, I'm happy I read this book last because I loved Rowan and Zahra together. Between Zahra's depression and Rowan's father being an asshole and causing his son to give up what he loves, I'm so happy that together they can reignite their passions and finally be happy. I want the world for them because they deserve it.
Also, Rowan's friendship with Ani is freaking adorable. They make such great friends, and honestly, Ani might be one of my favorite characters in the series. I also love the little glimpses we get between Declan and Iris (my favorites above all, if I'm being honest).
All in all, if you're reading this and you haven't read this series, please, please, please read it because it's so fucking good!

I loved this book. The plot, the Disney/theme park aspects, the disability representation. I feel like L.A. created such a well thought out great story . I cried, I giggled, and swooned, all emotions I want from a good romance book. Can’t wait to continue with this series.
