A story of love and loss. Although melancholy often, there are many sweet stories within the novel. I’ll be looking to more of this author’s stories. The writing is direct but lyrical. I really enjoyed reading this.

This was just so overly dramatic it kind of took away from its impact. When a new tragedy struck I was laughing by the end, because of course if it could go wrong it would.

The story is an easy, peaceful read full of interesting characters and beautiful panoramas.
The ending was abrupt and I’ll-fitting to the story. And the end notes were a political rant from someone who seems to imagine she was wronged.
I wanted to love the book, but she let me down in the end.
