Es fehlt ein bisschen der Humor von Band 1 und der Kampf war ein bisschen lame, trotzdem eine geniale Reihe bis jetzt, freue mich auf den Film.

Plain and simple: lubs.

Entertaining, and only getting more and more random.

Alright, I'm sold on redoing this series in color. The big advantage is that they've upscaled all the pages, which means you can finally read some of O'Malley's teeny little dialogue boxes and little text jokes. (Rescaling in black and white alone would, I think, not work because the art is simple enough where it will get boring on a large scale.)

The colors continue to be well done, too. And the big help here is that some of the similar-looking characters are now differentiated by hair color, which is easier for me than trying to remember what all they normally wear.

They also did this at the end of the first one and I'm not sure I mentioned it, but there's a nice little thing where he discusses the influence behind the characters. I don't remember this being included in the original books, and it's just a fun aside. Also, since his style looks simple enough, it's good to have the reminder that this kind of thing actually takes a ton of practice. (And all of his backgrounds are real places in Toronto.)
lighthearted

I’m a fan

Wow -- the movie really diverges from the book in this volume. The original graphic novel has plenty more backstory and completely different encounters between Scott and Lucas Lee, as well as a fight between Ramona and Knives, which in the film didn't come until the climax.

Once again, Scott Pilgrim's story gained steam in the second half and pulled me in to want to read the next episode. Scott continues to woo Ramona by beating up her evil ex-boyfriends. Scott is still pretty much a weasel with no balls, but he is evolving ever so slowly. He is growing on me. I am interested in following Knives' story too as she is also in the wooing business to try and get Scott back for herself.
