loved the characters and the story! the book felt original and the world complex. if you enjoyed Hunger Games, it’s nostalgic? but still fresh. immediately wanted to dive into the next book!

that was amazing im sobbing. i hate endings like that but somehow this book made me like sort of sad endings???? i wish eris and sona had gotten more time though. THE FIGHTA WERE AWESOME, CHARACTERIZATION WAS DONE PERFECTLY, literally every other thing i usually complain about was done wonderfully. i know i just mentioned that i wish eris and sona had gotten more time but i also feel like this was super fitting for them. idk. this was a great book highly recommend!!!!

| I feel like this book would've had more power if it were written in third person rather than first person, but alas. There were also certain characters I didn't really like/got annoyed by, but the main two were fun! Maybe a bit too YA for me (I'm old now)
