Reading this book has helped me understanding myself and my friends better! There is nothing called better personality. Every person is entitled to live and interact the way they please to, with the society. We have to accept each other and this book can help you in your understanding and acceptance!
informative inspiring medium-paced

I think the concept was well thought out, but the book in general was pretty boring. The stories were really interesting, but I felt that most of what was discussed could have been summed up and not dragged out so much. Another thing that I disliked was that there were no footnotes, and so it backing up facts would have been difficult with just a list of sources. This needed footnotes.

Potentially life-changing...thank you Susan Cain.

I love a book that slightly changes my perception of the world around me. By defining introverts as people who use up energy being around people and extroverts as people who gather energy by being around people, and then exploring how the two groups interact with the world, Susan Cain has done just that. The book argues strongly for the value of intoverts and how to be more accepting of them, but I think I learned the most from the descriptions of how extroverts think. It was shockingly foreign to me. I guess that is what extroverts think about me :)

I really enjoyed and appreciated this research dense book on understanding introvert and extrovert personalities.

The science to back up what I need as an introvert and what I need to give my introvert children is reassuring. I feel braver and more confident after reading this book.

Dare to be introverted. Dare to be yourself. It’s ok.

Not only a very good book, but an important one as well.

I genuinely think everyone should read this. It was interesting and science based, I learned so much. I could take things for my own life and understand my own talents, but I also got insight on how I could best raise my future kids, especially if I have introverts. The only problems I had with this book was how she didn't really put extroverts in a positive life and she repeated things way too much and when she used an example it dragged on several minutes or even an hour
It was insightful tho and I'm glad I read it

Really interesting premise, provided some insight into introverts/extroverts that I know and love. A fairly technical read, fyi. I found myself skipping through this book, picking out the parts that I was interested in rather than reading through from start to finish.
