I listened to the audiobook. It was difficult to follow and in the firat chapters, it sounded more like "introverts good, extroverts bad"
I respect the idea that we need both of them in the society and it's better to use their uniqueness as best as possible. But at some point it felt like an introvert HAS TO do something that is really difficult for them, when there is an alterations option. I get that in our societies being introvert is not something encouraged, but for some reason I found it exaggerated. However, it is a good thing that little by little being and introvert is more accepted and encouraged by big companies.
The voice of the narrator was really calming, but yet it was difficult for me to follow.

Very interesting. I already knew I was an introvert but I found the advice and guidance on how to do better in social and work environments very helpful. Recommend to anyone who has a kid that is "shy" or if you are having difficulty at work.

More important read if you identify as an extrovert to better understand your introverted counterparts. I found myself self-reflecting throughout.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't find "Quiet" all that enlightening. I identify as an introvert myself and was excited to read a book all about "us".
In the end it just didn't ring true to my experience. I don't remember ever feeling inferior because of my introverted tendencies. If anything, I saw them as an asset and I felt others around me did as well.
