Not my favourite. I ended up giving it a 2.5⭐ because I only moderatly enjoyed the last half. The story tried to be deep at times but it was far too surface-level and kind of aggressive about it. It felt like the writer was writing fan-fiction about the Greek gods... and while there's nothing wrong with fanfic (I've written some myself lol) this just didn't do it for me. Neil and Alice were surprisingly the part I kind of enjoyed but only because we got a bit of a heroes journey from it... minus the training, and life lessons and action, etc. The humour was ok, the ending was kind of nice.

Such an easy read, I couldn’t put the book down. The story kept me wanting to know more.

This now moves into the top tier of my favorite books. Clean prose, great dialogue, a terrific plot with twists and turns, especially as you near the end. This book offers such a cool take on answering the question of what ever happened to the Greek gods we've read about, seen in movies and watched on bad television shows. Translating their classical powers into modern day occupations (goddess of love doing phone sex, goddess of the hunt walking dogs, etc.) will bring a smile to any classics fan. But, Marie Phillips's excellent writing will appeal to anyone, regardless of the depth of knowledge of Zeus, Aphrodite, Apollo and Artemis.

I recently twittered that I was reading the 2nd book in my life that I thought I should have written. The first book was Company, by Max Barry. The second was this very book. My tweet noted that the third book would be written by me. But, until that comes out for you to read, please check out Gods Behaving Badly. You won't regret it.

3.75 gonna round it up. HELLO I LOVED THIS?? it had it’s lil weird moments but idc the second half made up for it. it’s such a unique idea and the execution could easily have been messed up but everything about this was perfect. kiss kiss kiss thank you for writing this.

(3.5) overall, this was an easy and entertaining read! i loved the creative concept, but the delivery could’ve been better. i still can’t believe the gods didn’t know why their powers were waning. it was so apparent

I thought I knew what to expect going in, but was pleasently surprised very early on. The book was quite blunt and the style of humour was right up my alley.
