Listening to this book had me laughing out loud so many times. Great, fun listen.
This very much felt like playing with dolls in a dollhouse: you have names & basic characteristics of the gods but it doesn't go much deeper than that. Fun enough while you're reading it but that's about it.

I didn't like this book at all. I had to stop halfway trough. Definitely not for me.
Funny, briskly-paced romp following the highly dysfunctional Greek gods who, nowadays, are forced to live in a squalid London building with dwindling powers and no followers. Some try to keep busy--Artemis as a dog-walker, Dionysus as a DJ, Apollo as a TV psychic--but most live a bored existence of the same old petty squabbles and affairs. When Aphrodite uses an unsuspecting mortal to get revenge on Apollo, the unexpected fallout could very well end the world. Witty humour in the gods' sniping arguments with each other, interesting ideas of how the ancient deities might adapt (or not) to modern times and mundane existence, and a satisfying adventure.

I love Greek mythology, and the thought of the gods living during modern times is always hilarious. This book didn't let me down. Really funny and entertaining, particularly if you know the myths of old!
