I read to the end because I wanted to understand the mystery only to have her do a cliffhanger and not answer many of the questions about the main couple and how they were cursed.

Kidnapping by Lucifer? Yes please!

I really liked this book! Hannah and Lucifer were great characters and the story is super intriguing. Looking forward to book 2.

I got this with the audiobook when it was on sale and wanted to try it out. I love the author but this series isn’t my jam. It might also be my book slump. The characters were great but I found plot meh for me.

Loved this book, kind of reminds me of Lucifer the tv show…
This book had mostly everything one wants, a hot male possessive and overprotective that knows his women in every aspect. Love how the book develops and their relationship, can’t wait to read the next one.

did not see that coming

Thats how the curse goes... oh what a curse....

Lucas Ifer of Abbadon Inc. phew

I was so excited when I realized we were getting the story of Kassiels father. would've loved more interaction with them but it feels like that's still to come?

Human Hannah is shocked by all the supernatural things she's learning about but within a few days she really does find herself consumed and claimed by the devil.

It is interesting to see the dissent in this world from the "hell" side instead of the "heaven" side like seraphim academy. (which you're not required to read before but it does give you an insight to a lot of these demonic and angelic characters.)

Dear ol Jo seems to always be sticking her darn foot into something or the other.
And I love Lilith and her sassy self. id kind of love a book with her.

Can't wait until the next book.

Book review of Demon King (Claimed by Lucifer - Book 1) by Elizabeth Briggs

First a confession ... as I read this Lucifer was voiced in my head by @TomEllis (aka TV's @lucifernetflix ) ... That said ... this book was well written with characters that jump off the page and this book played like a movie in my head as I read it.

It was tragic, romantic, action-packed and made me want More ... so much MORE!

This was a little boring. The characters all felt flat, everything seemed to happen so abruptly, including the beginning of the book. For a story that was about to span 3 books, it sure started off with too much insta love. I liked the concept but the execution was so blah. DNF@45%.

Both the hero and the heroine were the cliché-est possible characters. The heroine "liked books" and had hints of persephone in her personality, which was almost completely non-existent. Super original(sarcasm :3). The hero was just rich and had a gazillion cars and properties and whatnot, that's the entirety of his persona. The premise was so promising, what with all the reincarnations and stuff, soooo much could have been done with it. But nothing really felt out of the ordinary to me, especially considering the supernatural elements felt completely tacked on. If the minor appearances of incubi/succubi/shifters were ignored, this book would basically be another fifty shades rip-off. I'm just gonna get out while I'm ahead. How could this series be justified to have 3 books, I'll never know.
