I liked this book but it took me a lot longer to get into it and I have to admit I do prefer TSLD to this book. That being said, I did still enjoy this book and Lucas gives off major Labrador vibes to me and I also adore Rosie with my whole heart (and Taco too of course).
This book was a nice and simple read. It was good and had a lot of trope that people would like and I often found myself laughing out loud when listening to the audiobook.
I did not read the Spanish Love Deception and this book can be read as a stand-alone.
Rosie and Lucas were cute and had good chemistry I did not particularly enjoy the spicier scenes.
Although it was nice to read in the moment, I do not think that I would remember many details about this book later on. It did not delve a lasting impression.

I adore this book. I looooove the fake dating trope and adding in the dual perspectives just elevated it to a new level for me.
This is also my favorite kind of sequel. The distance from the timeline of the first meant that there was no overlap, but we still got to see Lina and Aaron. Their relationship with Rosie and Lucas was perfect from all angles - besties, cousins, and bros [slight spoilers] (especially seeing Aaron recognize a little of himself in how Lucas looked at Rosie!)

So So cute and I might have liked this more than SLD?!
