I would have loved to give this 5 stars but the first half of the book was a jumbled mess in my opinion. If I hadn't have read the book, I would have been super confused as to what was going on.

The last half was amazing and all the illustrations were just as beautiful as the first two graphic novels.

I love this this one, it was more about Rose and Dimitri, my OTP of this series! Their relationship grew a lot and I didn’t want the book to end. But this graphic went to fast. I want to learn more about these character. Which is why I can’t wait to read the novels. Hoping there’s more in the books. I couldn’t stop reading or looking at the pages. This plot had a lot in it but was still easy to follow. The ending. I’m not even…. I can’t is. Oh, Dimitri… I need to find out what happens next!

Not much new I can say about this since I've already reviewed this as a book. For me, Shadow Kiss was where the series finally picked up. I'm still not a fan of either Rose or Lissa, Vampire Academy has always been a series for me that's carried by it's supporting characters.

With that being said, the graphic novel was extremely easy to get through and easy to read. The story works well for the visual telling, however, I feel that the author weighs heavily on people having read the books before - which, let's be truthful, is probably the case. The graphic novels focus more on the action and leaves out a lot of the character development. The artwork itself is okay - nothing amazing but it works. I'm just finally glad to have a visual for Adrian. :)

I forgot how traumatic this series is! Rendered even more heartbreaking in graphic form - the last glimpse of the eye, oy! And I also forgot how unlikeable Lissa can be. But I didn't forget how awesome Adrian is and I really hope they adapt the next book as I want to see Sydney. Word on the grapevine is that sadly it's looking unlikely though, which just strikes me as cruel - of all the books to finish with...

Wow. I can't even remember the last time I finished a book in one day! Just like the series which I read way too long ago, this graphic novel was absolutely amazing. Best thing I've read in ages.
The story and images just consumed me and constantly reminded me of things that I had forgotten from when I read the book, four years ago. Still one of the best series ever.
Even when I thought that I was done with this genre, this came out of the blue and surprised me and honestly makes me want to go back and finish the bloodlines series that I abandoned at least three years ago.
I really hope that they made a graphic novel adaption of the fourth book in the series, if so- I'm buying it straight away!
Spoiler I'm also glad the added the sex scene into this graphic novel, it was so beautifully and tastefully done and really gives you an advancement into Rose & Dimitri's relationship.

It was a bit difficult to"understand" what Mason was trying to communicate since it's hard to show a nod or a head shake in pictures, but it was done amazingly and by the end of it I definitely understood his and Roses conversations.

So excited for the next one and honestly don't think I'll read a better book than this in 2016- or ever!
