Thank you to Netgalley and Penguin Random House for the e-arc. When her ex texts her right away after the manifestation ritual she holds to obtain him, she knows it must be a sign. Becca was a fascinating character to follow and watch her timeline throughout the book as she embarks on two possible roads to find love: should she rekindle her love with Mike or block him and find a new relationship. It was difficult for me to get into this book since I didn't think the chapters flowed as well, but I liked the notion of two different tales, and I loved how they intertwined. The conclusion caught me off guard, but I thought it was lovely.

Now I normally love anything that Laura Jane Williams writes but this wasn't for me.
The main character got on my nerves, I wasn't really attached to the 2 main male love interests and although the twist was surprising and refreshing I felt it was just done to save the story.
I love Carlos but their love realisation came a bit out of nowhere and it felt a bit like a cop out towards the end.
The 2 options with the what if was nice, however sometimes a bit jumpy. Mainly you had a clump of What If She Texted Back and then a clump of What if She Didn't, which was fine as you immersed yourself in each side of the story. But other times there was just one chapter of each which was a bit confusing.
Overall an easy read, I just wish it was better. Not Laura Jane Williams' best unfortunately.
