A really sweet story about the ghosts of the past.

Looking forward to discussing it, but felt like it went fast and I was looking for a little more depth to the characters and story. Loved the illustrations

very fast, didn't have the depth of some other graphic novels. more like a graphic short story. i don't read these often, but i love how i remember words AND images when i recall it. lots of beautiful single panels.

”How many times can you start life all over again?”

A gorgeous story about generational trauma, secrets, death, young love, and the importance of family.

I really loved all of the characters and the backdrop for everything. WWII fiction is of course always sad, but there is an element of love and hope in this story that makes the melancholy so much sweeter.

The first full book I ever read in Hebrew. Okay, it is a graphic novel, which implies not that much text, but still, yay!
"The Property" by Rutu Modan is what one (me) can only want from a graphic novel: set in Warsaw and dealing with reconciliation of historic narratives.
