I can’t recommend Fannie Flagg’s self narrated audiobooks enough.

It was such a sweet book. And of course, I loved the characters. At this point, I think I have read all but one of her books. I tried to read the Daisy Fay & the Miracle Man book but couldn't get into it at the time. Maybe it just wasn't time to try, plus, I prefer to listen to her books I am not sure if I found an audiobook for it or not (can't remember at this point). But all of the rest of them, I either loved or really liked a lot. I think there may have been one I was just okay with. Not sure if this is a favorite but it does deserve the five stars I gave it because I really did love all of the characters. Took me a bit to get it done because I had a few days or so that I didn't feel like reading. I had planned on finishing it sooner but got sidetracked. :-)

It's the sequel to "Fried Green Tomatoes," so I was predisposed to like it, and it didn't let me down. Fun, easy to read, and very much in the spirit of the original.

For at least the first two-thirds of the book, this felt more like a collection of loosely connected short stories. It jumped back and forth between multiple time lines and multiple POVs. During the last third of the book, everything finally came together. This book is nothing deep, or life-changing, or even terribly compelling. It was just an entertaining read. The best word I can think of to describe it is wholesome.

Another wonderful story from Fannie Flagg. What a great feeling to read a book that makes you laugh out loud.

Charming AF and so good to revisit all the Whistlestop gang. This plays a little fast and loose with some of the facts from the first book, but enjoyable nonetheless
