Pretty good, wish it showed more of historical Hollywood,  but it was mostly the normal people living in Hollywood today.

An emotional and fun murder mystery with a dull timeline and great relationship between all four characters.

This book started off really strong. It had a cool premise and it got straight to the good stuff. The atmosphere was strong and the author did a great job of making me feel anxious as I read through the start of the story.
However, it slowed down near the middle, and there was a lot of unnecessary descriptions that just weren't needed for the story.
I was glad to have finished it, especially after an ending that didn't really feel that satisfying.
I'm hoping to read something better next!

I felt like the ending was really abrupt, but I do love a good friendship tale/ghost story.

This was a fun listen. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it to anyone, but I enjoyed my time listening to the audiobook.
The story tried its best to not be predictable and it overall did a great job of creating a mystery and distrust within the friend group. The ending was satisfying as well. The characters were overall likeable, though the relationship “triangle” felt unnecessary and didn’t do much to move the story forward or add to character development.
