This book’s pacing is ludicrous
youre gonna start on an orgasm scene, then have SIX YEARS pass before we get to 50%!?
, the plot has almost nothing driving it forward, the man is garbage
the capitalism quote is (1) SO EMBARASSING and (2) SO over the top cruel!? And they just treat it like it was banter!?

The banter was a frequent source of secondhand embarrassment, and the fanfic was painfully embarrassing 100% of the time.
the actors BOTH habitually read fanfiction about their characters and THEMSELVES fucking. At one point they joke about copying an irl fic beat for beat when they  have sex 😭
why is this a 2.75 and not a 1? Because while I did not like it, it is more competent and less offensive than many other things I’ve read lol (no I don’t have any “pros”)

This was a fun read. I enjoyed the characters of Maria and Peter quite a bit. Personally, I wish there had been more development of their connection - it felt like we were being told about how they got into each other rather than being shown.
SpoilerI get it, though, showing a six-year-long romance just isn't feasible in a book like this. I also wish that there had been no mention of RPF (real person fiction) in this particular book. It was highlighted and promoted rather than seen as the creepy thing that it actually is.
