I’m torn between 4 and 4.5. I loved everything about it, but the paragraphs weren’t indented most of the time. It was hard to keep track of where I was. The actual story? I loved it so much. I loved how Death kept pushing her to live, not letting anything hold her back. I loved that he got her to grieve the loss she had and not just keep burying it down deep.

Decided to read this on the train home after a long day of work and was bored and just needed something where I didn’t need my brain activity to be going above 70%, but I should’ve just sat there and stared at the wall.

Cringe pet names and cringe dialogue.

A spicy short read 🫦🌶️

“You cannot run from me, because I will catch you. You cannot hide from me, because I will find you. I have smelt your scent, let it linger on my skin, you are imprinted in my memory.”

I really liked the concept of this book! It was spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and very interesting at times. Other times I was losing interest. I took so long to read this because I kept starting and putting it down 🥴. I did not get the ending to be honest. I have questions but I’m not sure if I care enough to get answers for them. If you take out the smut it was okay. Even for a short smut filled book it could have been executed better, but this is my opinion! It was a super short read and If you just want to read a quick dark romance with spice and minimal plot. Then this might be for you!

“It was as if the planets had aligned because finally I have found my one true love. The moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew that she was more than the sun and the stars. She was everything, and I was never going to let her go.” ೃ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚

› Genre: Dark Paranormal Romance
› Tropes: Stalker Romance, He Fell First, He Corrupts Her
› Medium-Paced, Dual POV

ೃ — He watches her sleep, writes her love letters, fixed up things around her house, leaves cash in her wallet, makes her wear a ring with their names on it. Tell me, is that too much to ask for? I decided to read this because of the dedication. The plot revolves around Lilith and how she hated that she escapes death when her family died. But little did she know that death was coming to claim her soul for himself.

First of all, the concept of the story was dark, creepy, and it literally gave me chills. It was also written poetically. To be honest, I don't know what to exactly feel about Lilith's personality. On the other hand, Letum was so intimidating, but dreamy, despite the fact that he is death himself. He has all the love languages, and he actually carried the whole novella. This is another proof that a morally gray man can win over a hero when it comes to books. My jaw was on the floor the whole time I was reading this. Plus, the spicy scenes were mind-blowing!

Lastly, the ending made me somehow confused. But overall, everything was great. I wish this book was longer because it has so much potential.

okay this is so short but I’m DNFing. It’s so weird bc I’m loving skin of a sinner but this feels like it was written by a completely different person. I was just bored and she was so sad. I was having less fun than I thought I would considering this is a smutty book about the personification of death… KU is a crazy place
