This is pure filth. But like, dark. Some like it, some don't. I don't.
It wasn't all bad, I just once again realized I prefer books with an actual plot and that I should probably stay away from books marketed as "dark romance".
If you're into this kind of stuff, though, I think you'll enjoy this one.

Loved the beginning and the story at the start; I read through it so fast until near the end—that's where it lost me. The ending felt so rushed and was the complete opposite of how the story was built in the beginning.

My rating for this book has nothing to do with the story itself, but the writing. Had difficulty reading while enjoying because of the amount of filler words used, such as the word That.
I actually really enjoyed this one! It felt a lot longer than the size it actually was! I really liked how the story played out and all came together, wasn’t tons of spice because because the story had me intrigued I wasn’t bothered about spice, I did LOVE the scenes with the shadow though

This one was a super unique dark romance, and I really liked how it was written. I really enjoyed Letum's character and loved his little notes and gifts that he would leave Lilith. I felt Lilith's character was also relatable as someone that has lived through the tragedy of losing someone so close to you and feeling that emptiness, which made me enjoy this book even more.
The smut was maybe a 2.5/5? There definitely could have been more, but I found myself coming back more for the storyline and watching Lilith heal.
Definitely a quick and entertaining read, especially if you enjoy atypical characters!
