An enjoyable read but some scenes are choppy and transitional scenes arent cohesive, taking me out of the scene and questioning how we got there. Still an easy and enjoyable read
What. I know I read something I just don’t know what. This was more depressing than entertaining and fge ending did not satisfy
I enjoyed the descriptive writing, which really painted certain scenes in my head (Like the scene at the end).
I did not enjoy either main character so much, Lillith or Letum. Its a fairly quick read so I didn't expect much build up for their relationship but he's already obsessed with her when the book begins. Lillith's mental health is suffering after an accident, understandable. Personal preference for me, I don't really enjoy plots that revolve around mental health.
As I stated before, I do like the style of the writing. I'll check out more by the author as I may not have loved Death's Obsession but I did enjoy it.

This was recommended to me by an ex-fling. There’s something deeply wrong with that man.
I really wanted to like this book, but I think it just wasn’t for me? It didn’t really awaken any feelings in me and just seemed to lack… something? The ending was also strange.

This book felt a lot like a fanfiction to me. The premise of the MMC being the grim reaper is cool but there is really nothing going on outside the stalker romance. To be fair, the book is pretty short as a result so it wasn’t hard to get through. The whole story was just the tension/romance but we didn’t get much build up since the MMC is the king of insta-love.
All that being said, it’s nice to occasionally have books that you don’t have to commit to mentally. I appreciate that St. Graves didn’t shoehorn in a plot. So, would I recommend this as a book? No. Would I recommend this to a dark romance reader who wants to read some red flags as a palette cleanser? Yes.
