Lowkey, wish there was more. But I liked it

I hate when I find books from booktok and the main seller is the smut. I should’ve known this would be bad. The plot if horrible and giving this two stars is being nice.

i don’t understand anythjng

This feels like a bad rough draft.

It's a vomited collection of every possible petname Death could use on the FMC, about 3 different directions for where the FMC's development arc might stem from, and a very rough outline of a love story that is meant to be romantic and deep.

Oh and sprinkle in gratuitous DP with Death and his shadow.

I don't care or know any of the characters, a lot of the writing has the potential to read well but lands flat every time, I don't understand why Death wouldn't take Lilith or why exactly he "chose" her after the accident or why he randomly disappeared at times when she needed him.

It has potential if it were a first draft. Nearly every facet of the story, characters, and plot needs to be fleshed out more, and for the spice to really "spice" for me, it needs to feel purposeful.
