What a wonderful book. I thoroughly enjoyed Lillian’s walk. She went places I have been in a city I love. I loved that this is based on a true story. It made it extra special. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Started OK but too much bravado for NYC and its rich history that seems to come from the eyes of a a New Yorker. Does not resonate with me.
This was the perfect choice for a New Year's Eve read last night! I wished I could've met Lillian and been friends with her unique and eccentric character!
definitely had some good aspects and i generally liked the writing but i just didn’t like boxfish so it was hard to get into. she felt too perfect and symbolic and not like a real, flawed character. i really did not care about what happened to her. the worst things she did were be sad for getting cheated on and eat oreo
