I had high hopes for this book because it had a strong opening. Once all the problems popped up for each of the main characters, it became less about opening a book store and more about them wading through their personal stories. This is where I became less into the book.

'The Bookshop Sisterhood' by Michelle Lindo-Rice is a sweet and uplifting novel about female friendship and new beginnings. This book was filled with characters making painful, not-easily-understandable decisions. The women did not have unique voices and only their experiences are what made them distinguishable from each other. Certain details in the text were not fully fledged out while others were unnecessary. The growth in the women was not believable. I found the book boring annd with few redeeming qualities. Also, it was really annoying when the therapist violated HIPPA.

I absolutely enjoyed every bit of this book. I was fully enveloped with each of the characters, so much so I found myself really bothered and upset at times!
