Oh wow... I don't really know what to say.
Well, I loved this book. The language was a bit too technical at times, but the writing style was simply so beautiful that I hardly even noticed. I really liked John Jackson Miller's writing style, it was detailed, engaging and I simply loved the dialogues.
I liked everything about A New Dawn to be honest. The characters were so wonderful and realistic, the setting was really interesting and the plot itself was mysterious and fun!
I just, love this book a lot and I am definitely going to read it again at some point.

A New Dawn is sometimes entertaining, but has far too many drawn-out actions sequences and too many shallow characters (even the ones from Rebels lose some of their charm) to keep that entertainment going.

Rae Sloane is excellent as usual, though. Her parts of the story are probably the best.

kanera = casa lar moradia

I'm yet to read a Star Wars book that does not disappoint, though I am told there are better ones out there. The characters of Kanan and Hera were pretty truthful to the original material, but any kind of chemistry between them was definitely missing. The planets the story took place on were somewhat interesting, but the other characters were mostly ones I would rather not meet again. Then again, it seems that I am, sadly, not the target audience here.

went into this for hera. left it loving kanan ten times more. hoe phase kanan is a treasure

I was hoping to get more characterization of Hera and Kanan's characters and relationship, but instead the story spends more time on an average action plot.

If that's your thing you'll probably enjoy it, but it just left me wanting more from one of my favorite couples in the Star Wars franchise.
