Way way way too depressing! Hopefully the next one will be more uplifting!

I was getting a little bored with this series, mostly because I didn’t like Martin that much and Roe can be pretty annoying sometimes. So when I found out that Martin had some problems with his health I was like “I hope he dies, because that would make Roe’s life more interesting” and now I feel kind of bad because he actually died. And it was sad. And now I feel guilty.

But in the end I liked this book. It was surprising and pretty intense, especially the part where Roe and Regina escape from the basement.

Decent series, but not my favorite of Charlaine. She has so many stand alone and three other series that are so much better.

This one made me laugh out loud and cry. Both while wedged between people on an airplane! Fave thing about this series is how the author allows major life changes from book to book. Following Aurora's life is a journey.

A Fool and His Honey was a bit of a zany caper with more undesirable characters that Roe is the least annoying in this book. And, usually with an ending like this
SpoilerI am in tears and need time to move on to the next book, but I was actually relieved.
I am interested in seeing where it goes.

Wow...I did not see that coming at all. The next one in this series better redeem this nonsense in a BIG way, or I won't be reading these anymore.

This book was as good as the rest in the series. I love all of the characters in Charlaine Harris' books.
