Audiobook. There are some good concepts here, but this could have been a solid 4-pages PDF. Also, I think authors should not read their own book, the amount of drama in here is frankly irritating.
Chock full of advice I can apply to not only work toward being the parent I want to be, but the healed person I always hoped to be. Dr. Becky's little mantras and pieces of wisdom run through my head daily to help keep me grounded and remember that repair is often more valuable than always getting it right on the first try.

I loved this book! I have read a lot of parenting books, and this one may be my favorite. I have followed Dr. Becky on social media for some time, but just recently realized she had a book. Her strategies around parenting really resonate with me. I hope to do my best to take her advice and parent in her style. I particularly enjoyed the chapters around not listening, defiance, and consent. She has many thought provoking suggestions and offers an alternative to traditional approaches.
