This was so effin' cute omg. Didn't take me long to read but Ari reminds me of my character Matty. And I absolutely loved this. Couldn't put it down.

Het waren mooie graphics en ik vind Hector een super leuk personage. Ik hoop alleen wel echt dat het gedrag van Ari bijtrekt in het tweede deel.

bakery au meets cute boys in love, what else do you need?
It was hella fluffy and now I have the urge to go to the bakery and eat a lot of stuff.
The ending felt really rushed and it's the reason why I didn't give full 5 stars but overall cute, contemporary gay boys.

I work in a library- we receive ARCs to read and examine as potential additions to our collection upon release.

Bloom is absolutely beautiful and so very human. YA graphic novels can sometimes feel inauthentic in their emotions, but Bloom did a fantastic job at making the characters and what they were experiencing feel real. I've known (or been!) each of these characters in real life. They are flawed and make mistakes, but I never felt exasperated at their mistakes. Again, it felt very human. Even if it was irrational, I knew why the character did what they did, or said what they said. The relationship between Hector and Ari bloomed (sorry, I had to) so slowly and naturally and was a joy to witness.

Wonderful art and equally as good writing. Bloom is definitely one of my new favorite lgbtq romance books.
