This was an excellent volume. Just enough goofy with sentimental and loneliness. Fukumaru has such fun cat moments like not walking around his daddy but walks right over him to protecting the house then being sensitive to his daddy’s emotions. That is when I tear up! This is one of my favorite mangas and I am so grateful it has been translated into English. When I was in Japan, I found this title and purchased it even though I could not read it. There is more to this story than cute pictures. This is a touching story of a lonely person and the joys a pet brings to a person.
