The actual story is interesting. However the story ends in a cliffhanger asking the reader to head to the app to pay for the rest of the story. Those apps ask for almost $20 a book. For a book that I can't keep.
I liked this book a lot actually. And it's a pretty quick read too. Except for the fact that it's on Galatea.
So you can only finish it fast if you have the subscription or a lot of points.
This is only a review of the "first" Galatea books. Since I don't think the others in it counts.
My reason for 2 stars is in the spoiler.
*SPOILER*
I was absolutely furious with Gideon when he was angry at Layla for being sexually assaulted!
He only thought of himself, and didn't even think of his mate who was in a lot of pain and just needed him by her side!
He is absolute trash, and I honestly hate Gideon for that.
Before that event I really liked him, but I find it unforgivable!
And when he finally apologises, he makes it all about himself, and how he failed to protect her. And how guilty he felt. Like wtf?!!
He didn't even stop to think about how his broken mate was feeling.
I'm sorry, but I just can't take it. She should have let him grovel some more, Layla, forgave him too easily!

It’s a short novella that’s actually from an app. So it was a weird read. It wasn’t bad and i would have kept reading if there was more

It was fine it felt like I was missing chapters or Gideon’s view. The story was interesting just a rushed through.
