Finally. I first read The Da Vinci Code circa 2003 as a teen, and yes found it entertaining and enjoyable to read. Then a few years later The Lost Symbol came out and I wasn't nearly as engaged reading it... ok so maybe no more Dan Brown/Robert Langdon for me. Inferno came out in 2015 and within two or three months I got gifted TWO COPIES. By people that don't read but made the effort to go to an actual bookstore and picked up the new release, the #1, the one that had stuff about history and literature - that sounds like Lisa right? sigh. So these two copies have sat on my shelf taking up valuable space, double space! for 10 years. And finally I was determined to read it, the bar was set low but still it was there, the expectation of some entertainment. OMG was it bad. the MC has lost his memory, hallucinations, cryptic "Seek and you shall find" messages, a sidekick that happens to be a beautiful smart young woman... *yawn* by page 100 I decided my time is too valuable to read something that was so boring and badly written. Maybe if it was a slimmer 300 page book I would have slogged through to the end but 470 pages? Nope. It is done, I have reclaimed the space on the bookshelf, two more books in the donation box.

Ok its strange that this belongs to my shelves funride and mere disappointment..
Fun ride because I enjoyed to read about Dante his Divine Comedy..but other then that it was total disappointment...
U know why??? If u
have read the book then uuknow without a doubt...the thing which pissed !me off was that through the whole book they were chasing leads to the plague which was already released and it was nothing they could do about it.they just flied across the country just for nothing!!
Another thing ...all along zobrist was portrayed as a madman who is the evil one and who's gonna kill a whole lot of people but t.addaaaaa he was a great scientist who thought deeply about world and mankind....in.the end he was truly the salvation as he never intended to kill anyone ..Sienna knew this all along..in the end they accepted it and moved on with their lives.
PATHETIC!!!
