"You should have a pastry... you're being such a good boy. What's the point of clicker training without a reward?"

4/5 ⭐ (CHECK TW, THIS IS A DARK ROMANCE!)

I've needed a book to bring back what I felt when I read the mindfuck series and this did just that.
I need more of these kind of books in my life

I actually weirdly enjoyed some of this, was it absolutely fucked at points? Yes, but for the sake of the story it worked 😂

When I heard that Wolfe and Weaver were co-writing a serial killer romance, my entire soul left my body. Both writers have written books that have remained in my top 5 for the past year so I went into this with the highest of hopes. Let me tell you though…..IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

The novel follow Dr. Kyrie Roth and Dr. Jack Sorensen, two serial killers (think very morally grey, Dexter vibes). Jack is very territorial and discovers that Kyrie has encroach on his domain, but what he doesn’t know is that he created the monster that he is trying to dispose of.

The two are forced to rely on each other when a third predator enters the scene and discover secrets, kinks, and similarities along the way.

Overall, Marrow has certainly became one of my favorite books for 2023 and I don’t see that changing any time soon! This is a must read for readers who enjoy their (fictional) serial killers with a heavy dose of spice.

I just finished my ARC copy of Marrow, and absolutely LOVE this book! Opposing serial killers, forensic anthropology, and smut?! Yes, please!! Wish I could clear my head of it to read it again for the very first time! I love the characters. Always on the edge of my seat! It had me full on blushing in the Walmart parking lot. You will not be disappointed!
