Wow! I don’t even know where to start, this book was perfect. It was dark, it was sexy, it was full of intrigue…Kyrie and Jack are couple goals. Well couple goals in the sense of being psychopathic serial killers, but you know what I mean.
I have read books by both Trisha Wolfe and Brynne Weaver and absolutely loved them but this duo together….UNSTOPPABLE!
Once I started this book I couldn’t stop. The main characters and secondary characters all play their roles perfectly and fit together seamlessly. Kyrie and Jacks relationship evolution is beautiful. Putting the fact that they’re serial killers out of your mind the passion, love and commitment to each other throughout the novel was enviable.
I loved the setting of academia and especially in the Forensic sciences, I love reading about those occupation types and it adds and extra layer to the novel having to use more of my learned brain.
The twists and turns we are taken on, stemming from Kyries traumatic life, are fun and nail biting. Loved it!
All in all if you like dark, steamy, thrilling books this is the book for you.

Thank you to the authors for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was not my cup of tea, almost DNF but I pushed through. Really enjoyed butcher and blackbird but these characters weren’t very lovable and never really got attached to them. Interesting plot but I feel like it might’ve been rushed a bit.
