Very cute and fun. Also definitely a younger child's chapter book lol. Am off to play the DS game I vaguely remember from my childhood.

A castle, a princess, a talking mouse, a jealous servant and rats. This may be interesting to kids in that the author directly speaks to the reader (i.e. look up 'perfidy' in the dictionary). I wonder at some of the phrases used (eg. olfactory senses) and think some may be over the age group's reading level.

Read this on a whim in between classes and it was such a nice and refreshing break from heavy academic readings. Definitely a book to share with a younger audience, especially for nightly storytimes and the like.
