This book will make you cry, laugh, and sigh with love. Another amazing read by Nicholas Sparks. It takes till about the middle to figure out how all the characters are connected. And the ending is a little predictable but I couldn't stop reading it.

I loved this book! I couldn't seem to put it down. I especially liked how it didn't follow the movie word for word! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance and doesn't mind shedding a few tears.

For being the latest Nicholas Sparks book I kind of had high expectations for it. However, it just didn't fulfill what I had in mind. The romance portion of the book, I thought, was too quick. The love interests got together too quickly and it seemed that they barely knew each other before they were already in a relationship. Next, the storyline of Ira's point of view didn't make sense until the end, and even then, it seemed too much a coincidence to include the ending with Ira. I would have much rather liked a book containing Ira and Ruth's relationship rather than having their love story squeezed in the plot. The ending was also cut and, I felt, too much to the point. Not everything is always aligned so perfectly. All in all, however, it was a cute love story and a good read to pass the time.
