The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Last Battle are 5s and the rest are 3-3.5 so I settled on 4 :)

A classic and foundation for the fantasy genre for sure. I’m not a fan of the not-so-subtle Christianity references/metaphors throughout (I’d give 3.5 stars for that reason if I could).

adventurous funny mysterious medium-paced

Reading as an adult, I saw so much more than reading it as a child. The religious symbolism and allegory was prominent and made one really read between the lines. Written with thought-provoking detail, I found this a fascinating read that I got through in one sitting.
