I am really sorry to give this book a bad review, but honestly, it just wasn't good. These are the storylines:

yeahhhhh this wasn’t great to be honest, the first 100 pages are fairly okay, relationship buildup and everything but the rest of it ? damn
this book has put me in a reading slump and i’m blaming it
the main character, luc, has no personality apart from being gay, i almost feel like the point of this character is to make fun of gay people in a way ? (straight token friend, no hanging out w straight people like come on man)
alex was okay i guess but it didn’t matter much to me at this point
2 stars cause it did take my mind off work for a little

While the plot of this book is nothing overly new, the writing is genuinely fantastic. I found myself laughing outloud throughout, especially due to some of the hilarious side characters, which I feel like is so rare to have such well-developed and personable side characters. At the core of this comedy was a heartfelt story or rejection, love, trust, and growth that I found really sweet and not as far fetched as a lot of rom coms out there. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, funny, light-hearted read.

Erm this is basically a dnf but I just skimmed through the last chapters. I generally didn't like this book all that much from 20% in and I kept reading thinking it will get better. I was wrong. I will not finish this series.

Omg I loved this!! It’s such a sweet romcom with lovable and relatable characters and I love their banter! It’s also very deep and I loved getting to know them! Fake dating has always been and will always be one of my fav tropes and this was no exception! I also love when polar opposites fall for each other which was also the case here
