Luc is too whiny and self deprecating. I cannot stay in this characters head.
funny
When I read this I was in the mood for a soft hearted, light, and fluffy romance… and that’s exactly what this book gave me!
Boyfriend material has made me see that audiobooks can be very very entertaining, especially whilst soaking up the sun for probably what is an unhealthy amount of time for one person

I made it to 65% and I got over them still fake dating and not realizing their feelings for eachother Oliver and lucien were bugging me because yes everyone in their circle knows they’re fake boyfriends but I was getting irritated over it screaming just shag and get together officially I couldn’t keep going it was not keeping me entertained

I LOVED listening to the audiobook for Boyfriend Material. It made the experience all the more special. If I was reading a physical copy, I could see some parts that I would’ve gotten bored at while reading. Luc and Oliver are delightful characters and their stories really shine through in Hall’s writing. Some of the side character conversations could have been cut because they seemed to drag on for far too long.
