The first coupl chapter or so through me off cause I felt like Andrew's character was off from how he previously was but I think that was just Poppy's perception. Overall enjoyed it more that some of the others

These books are astonishingly quick to read. But I’ve finally pinpointed what makes them so readable.
The dialogue.
Quinn’s dialogue is witty, fast-paced and at times very clever. So what the book lacks in plot, it makes up for in dialogue/chemistry.
I really liked Poppy and Andrew as characters - though you do have to suspend belief a bit (he didn’t have to kidnap her!) Poppy is headstrong but not a know-it-all. I enjoyed their scenes together, you know, if you conveniently forget the Stockholm syndrome of it all.
