Ugh how nice it is to be back in the Bridgeton adjacent world. I read the Bridgertons so long ago & I miss them quite often—especially the LOML Anthony—so it was so nice to be back with Julia Quinn’s writing in this spinoff series.

This book was classic Julia Quinn banter and two very likable characters who I was rooting for the whole time. Such a unique premise as well and one I enjoyed thoroughly. Poppy & Andrew’s conversation was always so funny and engaging and I loved the way they connected. At some points, it dragged just a touch for me but I still was tuned in the whole time. And no third act conflict or anything like that in this. So good and will definitely be looking into the rest of this series.

This is probably my favorite of the Rokesbys Bridgerton series. A great adventure and romance all wrapped into one.
